Personalised Durabottle FAQs
What is healthier, a glass or stainless steel water bottle?
While glass bottles are great in theory, stainless steel water bottles offer all the benefits that glass bottles have but with added durability and convenience because they're tough, BPA-free, non-reactive, and designed to last everyday wear and tear which is why they're more reliable. So while glass bottles are clean, safe, and don’t alter the taste of your drink, they are, however, heavy and fragile, which makes them less practical for everyday use.
How long does a Stainless steel water bottle keep water cold for?
The Beysis Durabottle is a hydration beast. Thanks to its double-wall stainless steel build, this insulated vacuum water bottle locks in icy temperatures for up to 24 hours. We've seen ice cubes dropped in the bottle first thing in the morning still floating around at 6pm at night.
How long can you keep the same water in a stainless steel drink bottle?
If it’s plain water, you’re fine for about 24 hours. After that, tip it out and refill to keep it fresh.
Coffee, juice, or anything with sugar or milk? Don’t let those hang around. These drinks leave a nasty residue that quickly turns into bacteria (and smells you’d rather avoid). Make sure to rinse and wash your water bottle as soon as you’re done and don't wait for it to turn into a science experiment.
What’s the best way to clean a stainless steel water bottle?
Give it a proper wash after each use with warm, soapy water, not just a quick rinse. A bottle brush helps you get into the corners around the lid or straw, then let it dry completely before sealing it back up.
What is the toughest water bottle on the market?
When it comes to durability, stainless steel bottles are the best. They won’t crack like plastic or smash like glass, and a well-made one can handle daily use without looking worn out. But our Beysis durabottle is a cut above the rest and we think its the toughest on the market. In addition to being made from high-quality double walled stainless steel, it features a 2mm high grade silicone sleeve to protect it from knocks and scratches. Durable, sleek, and built to last because your bottle should keep up with you, not the other way around.
Which water bottle is best for school?
The best water bottle for school is one that’s made of stainless steel because stainless steel water bottles are sturdy, safe, and simple enough for kids to actually use. It doesn’t crack like plastic, it’s BPA-free, and it keeps water cold all day long.
For younger kids, we recommend the Beysis Kids’ Water Bottle with Straw. It’s small enough for little hands and the flip straw makes it easy to sip without spills. Older kids who need a bit more water for busy days usually go for our Durabottle as its still slim enough to carry around but extremely hard wearing. And the bonus? You can personalise every Beysis bottle with their name or initials, so there are no more mix-ups at school.
How do I add a name or initials to my water bottle?
It’s easy. Pick your Beysis water bottle, type in the name, initials, or message you want in the customisation panel, and we’ll take care of the rest. Every personalised water bottle is customised in our Sydney warehouse, so it arrives in a few days ready for use: personalised and unmistakably yours.
How many plastic bottles does one reusable bottle replace?
By switching to a reusable water bottle, you could save up to 1,400 single-use bottles every year. That’s more than a thousand bits of plastic you’re not buying and not tossing in the bin either. Good for the planet, and a win for your wallet too.
